Description

  • Research and post volunteer opportunities across listservs, professional groups, community boards, and other channels to build awareness and drive applications.
  • Partner with Braven staff to craft targeted outreach messages for their networks and support follow-up.
  • Support the launch and ongoing management of the volunteer champions program, including interviewing volunteers who can advocate for recruitment.
  • Assist with LinkedIn Ads setup and campaign management during active recruitment windows.
  • Manage logistics for volunteer info sessions, including scheduling, calendar management, facilitation, and post-session follow-up.
  • Support in-person volunteer recruitment events with regional staff and Employer Partnerships Directors, including materials preparation and follow-up.
  • Conduct tailored follow-up with prospective volunteers via email, text, and phone to move them toward applying.
  • Draft and tailor recruitment communications such as info session decks, outreach templates, reminder emails, and flyers.
  • Communicate with volunteers to move them through the pipeline, answer questions, and re-engage stalled candidates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience.
  • Experience in recruitment, volunteer coordination, community outreach, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write warmly, clearly, and persuasively.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-moving cycle.
  • Relationship-oriented and energized by connecting with people and representing a mission-driven organization.
  • Experience and comfort with digital tools, including Google Workspace, email marketing platforms, and social media.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, or LinkedIn Ads is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment about when to escalate or ask for guidance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; Braven does not offer employment visa sponsorship.
  • Must live in one of Braven’s current operating states: GA, IL, NY, or NJ.
  • Part-time availability of 10–20 hours per week, with some evenings required.
  • Fixed-term role ending in June 2027, with a start date in August 2026.
