Description

  • Design and develop internal tools, services, and frameworks that improve the developer experience.
  • Gather requirements and feedback from engineering teams and iterate on developer tooling solutions.
  • Improve and maintain CI/CD pipeline code and infrastructure for efficient, reliable, and scalable builds and deployments.
  • Evaluate new technologies and integrate open-source solutions to enhance the developer platform.
  • Mentor and guide engineers in using DevX tools and adopting best practices for software delivery.
  • Document, maintain, and secure DevX solutions while participating in code reviews and design discussions.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define and enforce AI standards within the developer ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or DevOps roles with a focus on developer tooling or platforms.
  • Programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or OCI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects to successful outcomes.
  • Contributions to open-source developer tools or active involvement in the developer community are preferred.
  • Experience with developer experience platforms or tools such as Backstage is a plus.
