Description

  • Maintain and support a Kubernetes-based hosting platform and AWS infrastructure for Drupal and Laravel applications.
  • Migrate, configure, and optimize client applications in Kubernetes environments.
  • Monitor platform health and respond to outages, incidents, and security events.
  • Execute deployments and go-live activities while improving CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage identity and access across Google Workspace, Atlassian, hosting platforms, and version control systems.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device management and access provisioning.
  • Contribute to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance through security controls, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Build and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Manage DNS, domain records, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles.
  • Perform backup validation, disaster recovery testing, and recovery drills.
  • Help manage cloud costs, SaaS subscriptions, vendor relationships, and renewals.
  • Drive automation by replacing manual operational tasks with scripted workflows and AI where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with developers and platform engineers to improve reliability, security, and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong Linux systems administration skills.
  • Experience scripting and automation with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience migrating and configuring applications across Kubernetes environments.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, such as Bitbucket Pipelines or similar.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and incident response skills in production environments.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure security, identity and access management, and least-privilege principles.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2.
  • Experience working within governed and access-controlled environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex infrastructure with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience using automation and AI to improve DevOps workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Personal projects, home labs, or side projects demonstrating interest in automation and infrastructure (highly regarded).
  • Practical use of AI tools in DevOps or platform engineering workflows (highly regarded).
  • Experience hosting Drupal and/or Laravel applications (highly regarded).
  • Experience with managed Kubernetes platforms (highly regarded).
  • Familiarity with OpsGenie, JAMF, Atlassian Administration, and Google Workspace Administration (highly regarded).
  • Experience managing DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, and domain lifecycle processes (highly regarded).
  • Proven track record of automating repetitive operational tasks (highly regarded).
  • Experience contributing to ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audits and certification processes (highly regarded).
