Description

  • Perform end-to-end manual testing of core platform features, APIs, and integrations.
  • Define the scope of testing and maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and checklists.
  • Collaborate with the team to evolve and implement the overall platform test strategy.
  • Investigate and localize issues using logs, devtools, databases, and other diagnostic data.
  • Manage defects in the bug-tracking system through the full issue lifecycle.
  • Support the release process.
  • Work closely with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to identify risks and improve product quality early.
  • Mentor junior and middle QA engineers and contribute to QA process improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Mandatory experience in backend testing and a strong understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Strong experience in API testing (REST, JSON) using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
  • Solid SQL knowledge, including writing complex queries, joins, and working directly with databases.
  • Experience defining test scope and maintaining QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and checklists.
  • Experience improving existing test strategies and implementing process improvements.
  • Advanced analytical troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail, and a scientific approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with developers, architects, and product managers.
  • Intermediate+ / Upper-Intermediate English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in test automation with TypeScript and willingness to support automated testing processes (plus).
  • Experience in mobile testing for iOS and Android (plus).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (plus).
  • Experience with Allure TestOps as a TMS (plus).
