Description

  • Provide regular report status updates to clients and coordinate report delivery requirements.
  • Review physician reports for completeness, data accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clinical support.
  • Evaluate reports against client, jurisdictional, and state standards, including format and special handling instructions.
  • Clarify ambiguous questions, missing information, and addendum requests with clients and physicians.
  • Work directly with physicians and office staff to resolve questions and secure report approval and signatures.
  • Conduct follow-up to support on-time report delivery and timely completion of reviewer reports.
  • Provide verbal or written feedback and clarification requests to physicians regarding report quality.
  • Serve as a liaison on quality issues and new reviewer reports with the VP of Clinical Operations.
  • May oversee team members and approve cases for release to the client.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts to improve turnaround time, reduce clarification returns, and increase client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform long periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Ability to supply and support your own internet service for a work-from-home role.
  • Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is required for all work-from-home positions.
