Description

  • Execute business development strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Provide account management, strategic planning, and analysis for assigned key accounts.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret market reports to support quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, decision makers, and account influencers.
  • Own access, contractual, and outcome goals within account business plans.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the geography, customer landscape, care delivery, payers, and public funding initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities and barriers within emerging customer segments.
  • Provide information and education to stakeholders, including medical professionals, correctional providers, administrators, and drug/treatment court professionals.
  • Develop systems of care that support successful criminal justice initiatives using injectable MOUD.
  • Deliver fair, balanced, and compliant clinical presentations.
  • Assist with development and delivery of field training in support of the strategic business development plan.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute customer business plans and ensure continuity of care and pull-through.
  • Reinforce compliance policies and the Braeburn Code of Conduct across all activities and communications.
  • Represent Braeburn at local and select national conferences.
  • Manage business development expenses and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience, including at least 5+ years in sales, sales leadership, and/or field market access/reimbursement roles in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical or related experience in corrections/criminal justice, integrated health systems, or hospitals required.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance, supported by market performance reports and recognition awards.
  • Experience with complex customer protocol navigation and contracting in integrated health systems, corrections, and other large accounts.
  • Experience in a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy Network Management and Buy & Bill acquisition, required.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and identify new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally up to 70-80%.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, oral communication, presentation, planning, and operational skills.
  • Strategic account planning, negotiation, and contracting skills.
  • Understanding of correctional customers, managed care organizations, pharmacy providers, and the continuum of care.
  • Demonstrated passion and empathy for improving addiction and mental health patient care.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and/or experience in a start-up environment.
