Description

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and key stakeholders to retain and grow the client base.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions.
  • Maximize retention across the book of business and identify revenue at risk to help prevent churn.
  • Drive adoption of AlphaSense solutions within additional business units of existing clients to uncover new opportunities.
  • Forecast retention rates and track performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and pursue growth opportunities within the book of business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client organizations to better communicate with users and decision-makers, identify white space, and shape messaging.
  • Hold business reviews with key stakeholders and plan new user onboarding and training initiatives.
  • Conduct proactive outreach with relevant materials and serve as a visible on-site presence for clients through activities such as floor walks and lunch-and-learns.
  • Gather client value stories and product feedback and share insights internally with product, marketing, and sales teams.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of account management experience.
  • Demonstrated success building rapport and managing relationships with Fortune 1000 clients.
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing both internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly with intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Understanding of best practices for client engagement in a SaaS environment.
  • Commitment to delivering results with grit, work ethic, initiative, and enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders ranging from analysts to C-level executives.
