Description

  • Achieve planned territory goals, patient access objectives, and other performance measures for the assigned geography.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and office personnel on Braeburn products and access resources using internally approved materials.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret territory data, reports, payer information, and market trends to plan and execute territory activities.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the territory, including delivery of care, major payers, regulatory factors, reimbursement patterns, and state policies.
  • Communicate disease state, product, and REMS information in a compliant manner consistent with FDA-approved labeling.
  • Engage account personnel before and after sales calls to uncover needs, communicate approved solutions, and define next steps.
  • Manage accounts to ensure product access and triage reimbursement issues in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Braeburn partners to support account strategy and execution.
  • Develop ongoing customer dialogue to anticipate needs and adapt to changing market conditions and opportunities.
  • Exercise fiscal control over operational expenses while maintaining compliance and integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; an advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience, including at least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Experience in a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance, supported by market performance reports and recognition awards in Specialty Pharmacy markets.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work autonomously to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, with some territories requiring overnight travel up to 50-70%.
