Description

  • Achieve planned sales, patient access, and other performance objectives for an assigned geography.
  • Review and interpret reports, data, and market information to plan and execute territory activities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the territory, including care delivery, major payers, regulatory factors, industry trends, and reimbursement patterns.
  • Communicate disease-state and product information in a compliant manner consistent with FDA-approved labeling and the REMS program.
  • Provide physicians and office personnel with approved access-related information for Braeburn products.
  • Manage accounts to support product access and triage or resolve reimbursement issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Braeburn partners to support customer and patient needs.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers to anticipate needs and respond to market challenges and opportunities.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain integrity and compliance with Braeburn policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Control operational expenses within budget guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Experience in complex distribution models, including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty, physician-administered products such as implantable or injectable medication technologies in a healthcare setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight travel up to 50-70% in some territories.
  • Experience in a start-up environment preferred.
