Description

  • Serve as the primary Adobe Journey Optimizer platform expert for architecture, governance, and best practices.
  • Lead client discovery and translate business needs into technical requirements, data schemas, integrations, and customer journeys.
  • Partner with AEP/CDP architects and engineers on XDM schemas, data ingestion, transformations, event pipelines, datasets, and monitoring.
  • Lead configuration and development of cross-channel campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels.
  • Manage AJO user roles and permissions and oversee platform development, testing, deployment, and integrations.
  • Create and present architecture and technical specification documents while serving as the day-to-day platform SME.
  • Monitor system health and lead maintenance activities to support organizational policies and compliance.
  • Manage workflows, deadlines, and change controls across multiple platform projects.
  • Support platform optimization, technology roadmaps, project estimation, Centers of Excellence, frameworks, and reusable delivery assets.
  • Promote information security, assess risks, and ensure data privacy and protection throughout the information lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer experience.
  • At least three completed end-to-end Adobe Journey Optimizer implementations covering architecture, data design, integration, and activation.
  • Familiarity with AJO channel configuration, data sources, events, actions, audience definition, and decision management.
  • Experience with non-native activation and external-system customer interactions.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, RTCDP, and CJA strongly preferred.
  • Experience as a data modeler, with proficiency in JSON and XML.
  • Familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS, and responsive email coding preferred.
  • Agency experience and at least two years in a client-facing role preferred.
  • Understanding of digital marketing execution, audience segmentation, compliance, and campaign analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, technology, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer certification preferred.
