Description

  • Serve as the primary Adobe Journey Optimizer expert for architecture, governance, and best practices.
  • Lead client and internal discovery efforts to define business needs and solution requirements.
  • Translate marketing objectives into technical requirements for configurations, data schemas, integrations, and customer journeys.
  • Partner with AEP/CDP architects and engineers on XDM schemas, data ingestion, transformations, event pipelines, datasets, and monitoring.
  • Lead configuration and development of omnichannel campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels.
  • Manage AJO user roles and permissions and oversee platform access controls.
  • Oversee development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and system health for platform work.
  • Create and present architecture and technical specification documents while serving as the day-to-day platform SME.
  • Coordinate workflows, deadlines, and change controls across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Contribute to AEP Centers of Excellence, frameworks, accelerators, reusable assets, and platform optimizations.

Requirements

  • Completed at least 3 full end-to-end Adobe Journey Optimizer implementations, including architecture, data design, integration, and activation.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer experience.
  • Familiarity with AJO channel configuration, data sources, events, actions, audience definitions, and decision management.
  • Experience with non-native activation and external-system customer interactions through AJO.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform; RTCDP and CJA experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong data modeling skills and proficiency with JSON and XML.
  • HTML, MJML, CSS, and responsive email coding experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of client-facing agency experience and familiarity with agile project management preferred.
  • Understanding of digital marketing execution, audience segmentation, compliance, and campaign analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, technology, or equivalent work experience; excellent communication skills required.
