Description

  • Design and build LLM-based, agentic AI, RAG, backend, and RESTful API solutions.
  • Own technical direction for client engagements from discovery through delivery.
  • Lead client discovery, requirements decomposition, technical proposals, scoping, and demonstrations.
  • Develop phased delivery plans with deliverables, dependencies, risks, and cost considerations.
  • Lead architecture reviews and document technical designs and architectural standards.
  • Make and defend trade-off decisions across architectural patterns, databases, and integration approaches.
  • Write clean, production-grade Python and optimize AI integrations and backend services.
  • Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and share technical knowledge across the team.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders as a technical advisor.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and operating production systems.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and production AI/ML model deployment.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM applications, agentic workflows, and RAG systems.
  • Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock, including LLM evaluation and quality assurance.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, testing with pytest, mocking, and integration testing.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, or ECR; GCP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with React or Vue and a full-stack approach across AI, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with client discovery, solution architecture, cost estimation, and cloud cost optimization.
  • B2+ English proficiency and ability to collaborate across distributed, multicultural teams.
  • Preferred: Streamlit or Gradio, modern Python tooling, CI/CD, Go/Node.js/Rust, front-end development, and AWS or Claude Code certifications.
