Description

  • Take machine learning models from prototype to production in close partnership with Data Scientists.
  • Own end-to-end productionization of ML work, including real-time serving against SLAs.
  • Build and standardize the CI/CD path to production for machine learning systems.
  • Deploy GenAI and RAG systems on a GCP-native stack.
  • Design and maintain monitoring infrastructure to detect drift and quality degradation before KPIs are affected.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Science, Platform, and Engineering teams.
  • Act as a technical owner and advocate for Data Science needs across the organization.
  • Help shape how the new function scales and support the onboarding of future team members.

Requirements

  • Track record of putting models into production alongside Data Scientists, including classic ML, LLM/GenAI, or both.
  • Deep understanding of the ML lifecycle from prototype to production.
  • Experience with real-time serving, feature stores, autoscaling, and blue/green deployments.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Hands-on GCP experience, especially with Vertex AI, Kubeflow pipelines, and BigQuery, or equivalent cloud experience with ability to ramp quickly on Vertex AI.
  • Solid CI/CD and production monitoring experience, including model registries, versioning, drift detection, and automated retraining.
  • Conversational-level English language skills, as English is the company language for business-wide communication.
  • Experience with LLM evaluation, observability tooling, or RAG systems in production is preferred.
  • Experience defining MLOps standards across multiple teams is preferred.
  • Exposure to cost and latency management for GenAI systems is preferred.
