Description

  • Build AI/ML models for content generation, content recommendation, and content moderation using LLMs.
  • Convert business requirements into robust data science algorithms and ready-to-use solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of data science engineers.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML, NLP, statistical, and recommendation algorithms.
  • Leverage user data to research, develop models, and create data products with Development and Product teams.
  • Develop scalable data systems with system architects to improve the user experience through machine learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, BI, Legal, and Portals, to deliver end-to-end products and features.
  • Create model validation frameworks and distill analytical results into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.
  • Recruit, build, retain, assess, inspire, and motivate a high-performing data science team.
  • Manage changing priorities and re-prioritize work as business needs evolve.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in machine learning/data science with an NLP background.
  • Strong programming experience in Python.
  • Experience solving open-ended business problems using data science, ML, or AI from ideation through delivery.
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
  • Experience with prompt-engineering frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or similar tools.
  • Experience delivering multiple data science products into production; LLM deployment experience is a plus.
  • Practical LLM/RAG experience for search quality, including query understanding, semantic retrieval, and reranker design.
  • Experience with Solr, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with embedding and vector search.
  • Experience designing and implementing ML systems, including data cleaning, feature engineering, model iteration, evaluation, and high-throughput training with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
  • Experience leading a team of 3-5 data scientists.
  • Experience using deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Engineering Manager, Data Science experience with 10+ years preferred.
