Description

  • Lead and support monitoring, evaluation, and quality improvement activities, including logic models, indicator design, data collection planning, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Conduct epidemiologic analyses, surveillance reviews, community health assessments, and other data-driven assessments to inform client priorities.
  • Design and implement quality improvement frameworks, identify improvement opportunities, facilitate QI projects, and coach teams on QI methods.
  • Support public health accreditation readiness, including performance management systems, documentation review, domain mapping, and development of required plans and policies.
  • Conduct community outreach using participatory evaluation and assessment approaches.
  • Lead and manage public health projects and programs to ensure timely, in-scope, high-quality deliverables.
  • Serve as a primary liaison among clients, community partners, and project stakeholders.
  • Support the design and implementation of public health initiatives, trainings, and technical assistance activities.
  • Develop and maintain organized systems for project tracking, data management, and reporting.
  • Prepare written deliverables such as data summaries, evaluation reports, dashboards, presentations, and policy or procedural documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop tools, templates, and guidance that build client capacity.
  • Support business development through proposal writing, scope development, and identification of new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in applied public health at the local, state, or federal level.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a project management, consulting, evaluation, epidemiology, or accreditation-related role.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: epidemiologic methods and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, quality improvement, or public health accreditation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Skill as a facilitator supporting QI sessions, accreditation workgroups, community outreach, or evaluation discussions.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, R, Tableau, GIS, or similar.
  • Knowledge of public health systems and practices at the local and state level, including evaluation frameworks, epidemiologic methods, QI tools, performance management, CHA/CHIP processes, and/or accreditation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to client sites, conferences, or meetings as required.
