Description

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
  • Own features from conception to launch, including technical specifications, implementation, and release execution.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, robustness, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality engineering culture.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Improve application scalability and fault tolerance over time.
  • Stay current with best practices and new technologies in the Elixir ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend development.
  • Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
  • Experience with OTP, concurrent systems, distributed systems, and functional programming principles.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Ecto.
  • Strong product sense and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.
