Description

  • Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
  • Document current and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
  • Break project scope into estimable epics and stories for sizing and proposals.
  • Identify and resolve assumptions, risks, dependencies, and open questions.
  • Write user stories and testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
  • Partner with Product Managers to prioritize and groom backlogs for two-week sprints.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers in Figma to validate flows and screens before development.
  • Answer engineering questions and keep requirements current throughout development.
  • Work with QA to translate acceptance criteria into test coverage.
  • Support sprint demos and coordinate client user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain organized requirements documentation in Google Drive.
  • Capture compliance, security, audit, and SOC 2 requirements explicitly.
  • Act as a client contact for scope and requirements questions and communicate tradeoffs clearly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar software-project role.
  • Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery and convert ambiguous input into structured requirements.
  • Experience with business-level process mapping and data modeling.
  • Hands-on Jira experience; familiarity with Figma and collaborative documentation tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence leading meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
  • Technical literacy in APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints.
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or software services environment (preferred).
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy industries, including SOC 2, telecom, education, or fintech (preferred).
  • Experience with third-party integrations, estimation/proposals, web stacks such as Laravel or React, or AWS (preferred).
