Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage formal risk registers, change-control processes, and project dependencies.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban delivery teams.
  • Define milestone and gate-based acceptance criteria and provide client-facing status reports.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and resolve conflicts.
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on large, complex systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience delivering projects against fixed, immovable external deadlines.
  • Experience managing scope, budgets, resourcing, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance projects and US-LATAM nearshore teams preferred.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, attention to detail, and client-focused judgment.
