Description

  • Design and develop full-stack applications and services for client projects, delivering production-quality code.
  • Implement and maintain backend services, data storage, and modern web frameworks.
  • Build and integrate front-end features and user interfaces for web applications.
  • Write testable, maintainable code and apply software engineering best practices (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
  • Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, AWS).
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams as a consultant to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support and maintain SaaS products and corporate-client projects across different domains.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain databases and keyed storage systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Full-Stack Developer using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and/or other object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, including backend services, data storage, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and with deployment tooling (Docker, AWS).
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals: OOP, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, and frontend frameworks (React, Knockout).
  • Experience with databases and ORMs (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and developer tools (Git, Vagrant, Fabric).
  • Experience in SaaS products and corporate environments is a plus; B2B financial services or asset management experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to work remotely from Latin America (position listed for Latin America / Heredia, Costa Rica).
