Description

Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Develop clean, async, well-structured code following best practices.
Design and maintain multi-tenant systems.
Integrate third-party APIs, including Veeva Vault, Adobe PDF Services, and OCR services.
Build and optimize React components for performance and usability.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams.
Ship high-quality features quickly and iterate on them.
Work across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and production support.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in software development.
5+ years of strong Python experience, including async/await, asyncio, type hints, Pydantic, and SOLID principles.
3+ years of experience building UIs with React.js.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end practices.
3+ years of experience building and maintaining APIs and microservices with FastAPI.
3+ years of strong SQLAlchemy experience.
Hands-on experience with feature engineering pipelines, real-time and batch inference systems, and model serving.
Experience working across the full development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and production.
Strong problem-solving skills with a builder mindset.
Comfortable working with product, UX, and business stakeholders.
Curious, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn quickly and move fast.
Nice to have: DevOps experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Nice to have: Kubernetes experience.
Nice to have: cloud experience, especially Azure services such as OpenAI, Blob Storage, and Key Vault.
Nice to have: knowledge of data security and multi-tenant architectures.
Nice to have: PySpark or Scala experience.
