Description

  • Manage, maintain, and potentially take full technical ownership of client digital ecosystems.
  • Ensure the stability and performance of the existing Magento 2 instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin-related work.
  • Audit, inherit, document, and optimize existing codebases and technical debt.
  • Execute seamless deployments and support staging-to-production workflows.
  • Optimize database performance and caching for high-traffic applications.
  • Integrate Magento and WordPress with external ERP, CRM, and marketing tools through APIs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on technical delivery across multiple projects.
  • Support security practices including Magento patching, WordPress hardening, and PCI-related considerations.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with Magento 2.x architecture, including EAV models and UI components.
  • Strong experience with WordPress custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with Redis, Varnish, or Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS with SASS/LESS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend technologies such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a significant plus.
  • Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Git, Linux-based server environments, and Nginx/Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or a similar certification is preferred.
