Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver new product features and improvements.
  • Work independently while partnering with senior technology leaders for guidance and support.
  • Take projects from initial concept through definition, development, debugging, release, and iteration.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with an emphasis on scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment and work with integrity.
  • Develop high-quality applications for a variety of client projects in a fast-paced consultancy setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including backend development, service design, data storage/access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience with SaaS-based products and comfort working effectively in a corporate setting is desired.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy, React, Knockout, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, or Jenkins is relevant to the role.
