Description

  • Design and develop low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs in AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant environments and manage PostgreSQL/AuroraDB systems.
  • Integrate external services through SDKs and maintain database schemas and migrations.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD applications and workflows.
  • Write comprehensive tests, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to meet commitments and produce high-quality solutions.
  • Apply best practices and take ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with AWS, low-latency services, scalable RESTful APIs, and SDK integrations.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, Row-Level Security, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant environments and working with large, complex systems.
  • Professional React experience and solid full-stack development knowledge.
  • Strong testing practices, CI/CD skills, and experience using AI coding assistants.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; availability to overlap with US business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, positive mindset, and client-focused accountability.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
