Description

  • Develop and execute go-to-market sales strategies for existing and new accounts in alignment with company strategy.
  • Manage complex sales cycles and large projects, including lead qualification, opportunity development, deal negotiation, closing, and product turn-up.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships to achieve business goals and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to pipeline creation and close net new sales opportunities.
  • Orchestrate partner and distributor resources to support opportunity progression and closure.
  • Work with Channel Account Managers to scale through the partner channel and pursue joint selling opportunities.
  • Manage forecasting and pipeline reporting using Salesforce.com, including monthly forecasts and weekly commits.
  • Collaborate with engineering to create integrated solutions for complex customer problems.
  • Work with marketing to refine solution positioning and messaging based on customer feedback.
  • Present at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Experience with the TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas) partner and distribution ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of competitive enterprise new business and/or account management experience in the network industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding or achieving sales targets and growing territory pipeline by over 100%.
  • Mastery of a solution selling approach.
  • Hunter mentality with demonstrated success in building quality pipeline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to collaborate across groups and organizations.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience working with complex strategic accounts and engaging key decision makers, including CIOs and CISOs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience selling Riverbed, Netscout, or other NPM solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in network reporting, application performance monitoring, or network security solutions preferred.
  • Ability to engage and manage cross-functional and virtual resources as part of an extended team.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills, including experience leveraging virtual tools.
  • Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time and work from home.
