Description

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable server-side components, APIs, and front-end interfaces.
  • Work with Product and Design teams to implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, business logic, database schemas, and responsive UI components.
  • Build and maintain services using TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST requirements through engineering practices.
  • Monitor, debug, and improve application performance, reliability, and observability end to end.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with documentation and unit/integration tests across the stack.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in agile sprints using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Work with enterprise healthcare clients to support web and mobile applications.
  • Shift focus between backend-heavy and front-end work as project needs evolve.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in fullstack software development, including SaaS or digital health platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
  • Solid experience building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
  • Proficiency with AWS services and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Node.js on the backend and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST.
  • Experience using Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with iterative development cycles.
  • Fluent English, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with AI tools to reduce coding time and improve automation processes, preferred.
  • Must be based in a LATAM country.
