Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of a nonprofit persona’s goals, workflows, challenges, and success measures and turn those insights into product strategy and measurable outcomes.
  • Build direct and ongoing relationships with customers through frequent conversations, observation, and behavior analysis.
  • Identify the real problems worth solving, frame opportunities clearly, surface tradeoffs, and make investment recommendations.
  • Create prototypes, experiments, workflows, mockups, demos, and lightweight solutions to move quickly from hypothesis to evidence.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Support to bring solutions to market.
  • Define success metrics before launch, measure results after shipping, and continuously improve product outcomes.
  • Use modern AI tools to accelerate research, discovery, prototyping, communication, and delivery.
  • Help shape AI-enabled features, intelligent workflows, automation experiences, and agentic capabilities that create customer value.
  • Communicate clearly, influence cross-functional teams without authority, and keep teams focused on the highest-priority work.
  • Maintain a high quality bar for useful, intuitive, elegant, and effective product experiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or technology products.
  • Demonstrated success owning product outcomes and business impact, not just delivering features.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information and high ambiguity.
  • A builder mentality with experience creating prototypes, experiments, workflows, demos, tools, or other tangible tests of ideas.
  • Deep customer curiosity and a track record of developing strong customer intuition through direct engagement.
  • Strong product taste and a clear point of view on what makes a product experience valuable and delightful.
  • Demonstrated ability to use modern AI tools to prototype ideas, test hypotheses, automate workflows, and accelerate discovery and delivery.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled products, agentic experiences, intelligent workflows, automation, and emerging AI interaction patterns.
  • Ability to participate in the discovery, prototyping, evaluation, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities.
  • Strong partnership skills with Engineering and Design, including enough technical fluency to discuss tradeoffs, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Strong data literacy, including experience using analytics, experiments, and product metrics to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across technical, business, and customer-facing teams.
  • A bias for action, ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in nonprofit technology, fundraising, CRM, volunteer management, or adjacent industries is preferred.
  • Experience working with specific user personas or vertical customer segments is preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth, startup, or highly ambiguous environments is preferred.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, platform products, or data-driven products is preferred.
  • Experience creating side projects, internal tools, automations, or other self-directed products outside core job responsibilities is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $122,600 to $204,300, with potential eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
  • Generous health, vision, and dental insurance options.
  • Access to HealthiestYou, offering 24/7 confidential doctor access.
  • Competitive PTO package including 20 PTO days, 3 flex days, 4 optional volunteer days, and 12 paid holidays.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • 401(k) match to support retirement savings.
  • Fully remote, permanent full-time role within the U.S. and select Canadian provinces, with Indianapolis headquarters access for local employees.
  • Equipment shipped to your door to support remote work.
