Description

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for sustainability data, benchmarking, performance standards, audits, retrocommissioning, renewable energy, and reporting workflows.
  • Conduct regular discovery with sophisticated customers and internal Utility Operations, Utility Expense Management, product, and engineering teams.
  • Define requirements, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and release readiness for new product capabilities.
  • Lead ambiguous 0-to-1 and 1-to-n product initiatives in B2B SaaS, proptech, or utilitytech.
  • Reduce manual ESG reporting and compliance work while supporting growth for Entrata Utilities.
  • Use approved GenAI tools to automate routine work and accelerate deliverables.
  • Audit AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, brand alignment, and hallucinations.
  • Protect proprietary and personally identifiable information by following AI security and data-governance protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of product management or equivalent ownership experience in B2B SaaS, proptech, utilitytech, or related domains; alternatively, 5+ years of sustainability or energy consulting experience with evidence of shipping software products.
  • Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 concepts, including activity data, emission factors, and location- versus market-based Scope 2 calculations.
  • Direct multifamily or commercial real estate operator or owner experience.
  • Experience with GRESB or SASB reporting and document creation.
  • Experience with utility billing, submetering, vacancy cost recovery, or energy data platforms.
  • Knowledge of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, Building Performance Standards, energy audits, and retrocommissioning reports.
  • Understanding of renewable energy procurement concepts such as RECs, green tariffs, and on-site generation.
  • Experience with local benchmarking ordinances or Building Performance Standards programs.
  • Ability to craft context-rich prompts and responsibly oversee AI outputs.
  • CEM, LEED AP, WELL, or GHG accounting credentials or coursework preferred.
