Description

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for sustainability outcomes, including benchmarking, performance standards readiness, audit/RCx workflows, green energy insights, and reporting.
  • Partner with Utility Operations, Utility Expense Management, engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver product capabilities.
  • Conduct regular discovery with sophisticated customers to understand sustainability and energy-data needs.
  • Define priorities, product requirements, acceptance criteria, and release-readiness plans.
  • Develop solutions that reduce manual ESG reporting work and support growth of Entrata Utilities.
  • Translate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions concepts, ENERGY STAR benchmarking, BPS requirements, and green-energy procurement into product experiences.
  • Own ambiguous 0-to-1 and scaled 1-to-n product initiatives.
  • Use approved GenAI tools to streamline work while reviewing outputs for accuracy, brand alignment, and hallucinations.
  • Follow AI security and data-governance protocols, including protection of proprietary and PII data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of product management or equivalent ownership experience in B2B SaaS, proptech, utilitytech, or a related domain; or 5+ years in sustainability/energy consulting with evidence of shipping software products.
  • Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol-style Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 accounting, including activity data, emission factors, location- and market-based Scope 2, and real estate Scope 3 categories.
  • Direct experience with multifamily or commercial real estate owners or operators.
  • Experience creating GRESB or SASB reports and supporting documentation.
  • Product management experience in discovery, prioritization, requirements definition, acceptance criteria, and engineering partnership.
  • Knowledge of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, building performance standards, energy audits, retrocommissioning reports, and green-energy procurement concepts.
  • Experience with utility billing, submetering, vacancy cost recovery, or energy-data platforms.
  • Experience with local benchmarking ordinances or Building Performance Standards programs.
  • CEM, LEED AP, WELL, or GHG accounting credentials/coursework (preferred).
  • Ability to use GenAI tools responsibly, audit outputs, protect sensitive data, and write effective prompts.
