Description

  • Lead assortment planning and category strategy across the product portfolio.
  • Analyze product performance data to identify growth, optimization, and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Design and Creative teams to guide product direction from concept to launch.
  • Monitor handbag and accessories trends, competitor activity, and emerging styles to inform decisions.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into new product opportunities.
  • Develop pricing and product positioning strategies that support brand perception and margin goals.
  • Evaluate product performance using revenue, margin, and sell-through metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on product storytelling, launches, and campaigns.
  • Work with the Inventory Planner to align inventory levels with demand and assortment strategy.
  • Continuously refine the assortment and support expansion into new product categories and markets.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or product strategy within the handbag industry.
  • Direct experience in handbag or accessories buying or merchandising.
  • Strong understanding of handbags and accessories as a commercial category.
  • Highly trend-aware with a strong pulse on emerging styles and competitor activity.
  • Understanding of how product, pricing, and positioning influence customer demand.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment where product strategy drives business success.
  • Strong business judgment and confidence in making recommendations that influence product direction.
  • Experience within consumer brands, fashion, accessories, or DTC e-commerce is a strong asset.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $110,000 to $140,000 USD.
