Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound sales strategy to build a book of business.
  • Source leads through cold calling, cold emailing, and social selling to generate interest.
  • Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, and demos to assess merchant needs.
  • Create consultative solutions using Square’s first- and third-party offerings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Partner with Business Development to convert and close outbound leads.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and, when needed, meet in the field to improve win rates.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through proactive outbound activity.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align solutions with market needs.
  • Use Salesforce to track pipeline status, sales activity, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • Experience in business development, including new-logo sourcing and acquisition.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong rapport-building ability.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in the restaurant vertical is implied by the role focus, especially with small and mid-sized businesses.
