Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound sales strategy to build a book of business.
  • Source prospects through cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and other outbound prospecting methods.
  • Conduct discovery calls, demos, and consultative sales conversations to understand merchant needs.
  • Create tailored solutions using Square and third-party offerings to meet prospect requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects in the field when needed to improve win rates.
  • Own the sales cycle from prospecting through close and support successful onboarding.
  • Partner with Business Development to convert and close outbound leads.
  • Lead outreach to restaurant merchants and introduce Square’s ecosystem to the vertical.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through proactive outbound selling.
  • Use Salesforce to track pipeline activity, report outcomes, and manage sales progress.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • Experience sourcing and acquiring new logos.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent CRM experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport and negotiate with prospects.
  • Experience in restaurant sales or small/mid-sized business sales is implied by the role focus.
