Description

  • Create and execute an outbound sales strategy to build a book of business.
  • Source leads through cold calling, cold emailing, and social selling.
  • Run prospecting, discovery calls, and demos to understand merchant needs and shape solutions.
  • Sell Square’s ecosystem and first- and third-party offerings to prospective restaurant merchants.
  • Own the sales cycle from prospect to close and support successful onboarding with partner teams.
  • Partner with Business Development to convert and close cold outbound leads.
  • Build strong field relationships when needed to increase win rates.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through proactive outbound activity.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure solutions align with market needs.
  • Track pipeline status, sales activities, and outcomes in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • Experience in business development, including new logo sourcing and acquisition.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products.
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with restaurant merchants or small/mid-sized businesses is preferred.
