Description

  • Develop insight-led sales strategies and business cases tailored to client priorities.
  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.
  • Lead complex technical sales cycles involving API integrations, platform requirements, and custom development.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to scope requirements and bring in the right experts at the right time.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Risk, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Account Management.
  • Represent Square in C-suite meetings, technical working sessions, conferences, and networking events.
  • Build relationships with senior leaders at target brands and platform partners.
  • Channel customer feedback internally to influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategy.
  • Use AI tools to improve research, automate workflows, and increase output.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience with a track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Experience owning the full lifecycle of enterprise deals from initial outreach to signed contract.
  • Deep experience in technical sales cycles involving API integrations, custom development, and platform configuration.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder deals with strong communication, follow-through, and organizational discipline.
  • Executive presence suited to C-suite boardrooms, conference stages, and technical discovery calls.
  • Experience selling SaaS or fintech products, ideally in payments, commerce, or adjacent verticals.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business language.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40%.
  • Experience collaborating naturally with Solutions Engineering teams (preferred).
