Description

  • Scale the Central Field Sales organization by refining territory models, optimizing go-to-market plans, and increasing operational rigor.
  • Lead Sales Managers and Territory Account Executives across key Central markets.
  • Set regional strategy and drive execution to acquire and expand small and midsize business customers.
  • Build a performance-driven culture centered on accountability, competitiveness, and consistent results.
  • Spend meaningful time in the field coaching, co-selling, and reinforcing product fluency.
  • Develop consultative selling practices that connect Square product capabilities to seller outcomes.
  • Manage pipeline health, conversion rates, sales productivity, forecasting, and KPI tracking to drive predictable growth.
  • Continuously improve systems, tools, and playbooks to help the team scale more effectively.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, Partnerships, and Product to align regional execution with broader company strategy.
  • Attract, retain, and develop high-performing sales talent across the region.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years leading regional or field sales teams.
  • Experience leading teams in a high-growth SaaS, fintech, or payments environment.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding regional revenue and productivity goals.
  • Proven ability to build high-performance teams and coaching-driven cultures.
  • Strong product acumen with the ability to position complex, multi-product solutions.
  • Ability to use data to guide decisions and improve sales performance.
  • Deep operational expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Builder mindset with the ability to move fast, stay resourceful, and operationalize what works at scale.
  • Experience working in or knowledge of the Square ecosystem is strongly preferred.
