Description

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard independent sales advisors across France.
  • Build and grow a team of 20 to 30 independent consultants through high-quality hiring.
  • Partner with Square’s recruiting teams to maintain an active candidate pipeline.
  • Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new consultants.
  • Provide regular one-to-one coaching, field support, and structured feedback to improve consultant performance.
  • Assess individual and team performance, define KPIs, and manage underperformance proactively.
  • Produce regional forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance summaries for management.
  • Use performance data to guide decisions and continuously improve network practices.
  • Gather market insights on local SME needs and competitive trends.
  • Share field learnings with leadership and cross-functional teams to inform sales strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in indirect sales management, channel sales, or team leadership, ideally in the French market.
  • Proven experience recruiting, developing, and managing independent contractors or auto-entrepreneur sales representatives.
  • Strong interest in fintech, payment solutions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Solid understanding of performance-based compensation models, sales pipelines, and tracking metrics.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills, especially with commission-based non-employee profiles.
  • Natural ability to recruit and assess commercial talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and engagement with an independent network.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make strategic decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • French fluency is required.
  • Professional English is a plus.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, POS, or supporting French SMEs is preferred.
  • Experience building sales teams from scratch is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the auto-entrepreneur status and contractor management in France is preferred.
