Description

  • Prospect, pitch, and expand relationships within target accounts to generate new business and new logos.
  • Build and execute a targeted outreach strategy with aggressive sales goals and performance tracking.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client decision-makers and shape Blink's value proposition.
  • Navigate complex matrixed sales channels and procurement processes to drive revenue at scale.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification through signed contracts.
  • Partner with UX researchers, designers, strategists, and internal account and solutions teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Communicate Blink's services clearly and persuasively in ways that align to client business needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify innovative opportunities for the account and broader business.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in business development or client acquisition, ideally in UX, product design, or innovation consulting.
  • Experience selling to, within, or working at Amazon is required.
  • Proven success landing enterprise clients in Fortune 500 and Big Tech environments.
  • Proven ability to manage a client portfolio of over $5 million in consulting fees per year.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles in direct and partner-related opportunities.
  • Experience working in an integrated business or technology firm that has acquired strategic design consulting services.
  • Experience collaborating with technology partners on the sales and delivery of complex digital transformations is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in digital product and service design, sales, and delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong judgment, a bias for action, and a collaborative, consultative approach.
  • Experience selling across industries on a global scale.
  • Depth of experience in eCommerce, Product, or Technology is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a research, strategy, design practitioner, or project manager within a design organization is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy with interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI, and understanding of the product design and development lifecycle.
