Description

  • Conduct field investigations using SUE equipment and utility location tools.
  • Detect, map, and document underground utilities for construction-related work.
  • Use ground penetrating radar (GPR) and related technology to support utility locating tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and other professionals to maintain accuracy and efficiency in the field.
  • Participate in ongoing training to build SUE knowledge and operational skills.
  • Adapt to different work environments while maintaining a positive, proactive approach.
  • Support safe and efficient project execution by helping minimize utility-related risks.

Requirements

  • Experience with ground penetrating radar (GPR).
  • Experience with electromagnetic locators.
  • Experience with RTK GPS.
  • Competency in common utility infrastructure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, and/or hydro-vac is beneficial but not required.
  • Previous experience in construction, utility services, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Physical ability to perform fieldwork in different weather conditions and environments.
