Description

  • Oversee and manage survey technicians and survey crews.
  • Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews.
  • Conduct research at the town, county, and state levels.
  • Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and related materials to identify project constraints.
  • Determine the best approach to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform calculations of quantities and volumes.
  • Communicate daily with crew chiefs and the operations team.
  • Collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and operations on status updates, challenges, and plan revisions.
  • Support project coordination and issue resolution across field and office teams.

Requirements

  • Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required.
  • Multiple state licensures are a plus.
  • Field and office experience in land surveying is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Proven track record of managing survey crews.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work remotely are important.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required.
  • Proficiency with Quickbase to log job statuses is a plus.
