Description

  • Design, prototype, and implement content both in and out of the engine in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Develop features and content through brainstorming, documentation, implementation, and gameplay tuning and balancing.
  • Provide documentation and ongoing guidance to support feature implementation.
  • Interpret and execute direction in alignment with project goals.
  • Resolve implementation issues and gameplay bugs.
  • Assist in testing new features and provide design feedback.
  • Communicate ideas clearly and solicit, receive, and act on feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Support the achievement of objectives assigned by the Design Designer and Game Director.

Requirements

  • 5–6 years of game design experience.
  • Experience building content such as levels and scripting in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Experience prototyping with Blueprints in Unreal 5.
  • Ability to think logically with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of competitive products and a variety of gameplay genres.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to convey abstract concepts.
  • Experience with procedural generation systems (preferred).
  • Experience with highly systemic gameplay (preferred).
  • Experience designing for multiplayer (preferred).
  • Interest in single-player games (preferred).
  • Art or creative writing skills (preferred).
  • Ability to understand and communicate in technical language (preferred).

Benefits
