Description

  • Design engaging gameplay experiences that push creative boundaries and deliver innovative player experiences.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of major gameplay components using Blueprint scripting, replication, sequences, and replays.
  • Collaborate with design leaders to develop and refine gameplay features.
  • Use Unreal Blueprint to implement in-game content.
  • Own complex content implementation that may require coordination with artists, designers, and engineers.
  • Iterate on, polish, and balance gameplay mechanics and systems.
  • Advocate for immersive player experiences and craft compelling user stories.
  • Test and validate work on target hardware.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of game design experience in the game industry, with at least one shipped game.
  • 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine 5 in a design or technical design role.
  • 2+ years of proficiency with UE Blueprints or other visual scripting languages.
  • Experience working on multiplayer games.
  • Proven ability to create functional prototypes.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking with deep knowledge of gameplay mechanics and player engagement.
  • Ability to work independently in a small team environment while contributing to a larger team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying design and technical issues, with willingness to ask for help when needed.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Bonus: experience with Lumen and World Partition in Unreal Engine.
  • Bonus: secondary technical skills such as animation, UI/widgets, or advanced Blueprint systems.
  • Bonus: exposure to multiplayer projects or performance optimization workflows.
  • Bonus: portfolio featuring shipped or production-quality levels.
