Description

  • Develop and own the enterprise data strategy and roadmap aligned to corporate objectives and digital transformation priorities.
  • Define the operating model, policies, and maturity path for data ownership, stewardship, quality, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Establish and chair cross-functional data governance forums with business, IT, security, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Own the design, build, and evolution of the corporate data lakehouse and related ingestion, storage, and semantic layers.
  • Lead data engineering and platform teams delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient data platforms.
  • Define architecture patterns for batch and streaming pipelines, ETL/ELT, orchestration, resilience, and observability.
  • Evaluate and select data platform, integration, and analytics technologies while managing vendor relationships.
  • Own the enterprise integration strategy across ERP, CRM, HRIS, Manufacturing, Finance, and other core platforms.
  • Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives and ensure solutions follow enterprise standards and reusable patterns.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial, AI/ML, and analytics teams to prioritize data products, reporting, and self-service enablement.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise data, analytics, or architecture roles.
  • 5+ years in senior leadership driving enterprise-scale data or architecture programs.
  • Proven experience owning data strategy and delivering modern data platforms such as data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns including APIs, streaming, ETL/ELT, and event-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrated success implementing and maturing data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
  • Strong background designing integrations across multiple enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, Finance, and Manufacturing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs with IT, business functions, security, and external partners.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in data, architecture, or enterprise technology leadership roles preferred.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with cloud data platforms or lakehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or BigQuery preferred.
  • Experience architecting solutions in regulated or security-sensitive industries such as defense, aerospace, healthcare, or financial services preferred.
  • Background supporting analytics, AI/ML, or advanced analytics programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, domain-driven design, or data mesh preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • All offers are contingent on a cleared background check and possible reference check.

Benefits

  • Pay range of $214,000 to $322,000 per year.
  • Full-time regular employee package includes bonus, benefits, and equity.
  • Temporary employee package includes pay within range plus a temporary benefits package after 60 days of employment.
  • Compensation is influenced by skill set, experience, licenses, certifications, and work location.
