Description

  • Own executive relationships across a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts and serve as the single point of accountability for client outcomes, satisfaction, and growth.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that expand Valiantys' footprint across data strategy, data platforms, data governance, and enterprise architecture.
  • Lead solutioning for complex pursuits and scope data modernization, data mesh/fabric, MDM, and enterprise architecture engagements.
  • Translate business goals into multi-year transformation roadmaps spanning enterprise data strategy, platform modernization, governance, and enterprise architecture.
  • Shape and communicate target architectures across business, application, data, and technology domains, including cloud data platforms, analytics, AI/ML foundations, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with engagement managers to govern delivery quality, manage escalations, and ensure architectural integrity.
  • Represent Valiantys in executive briefings, QBRs, industry events, and joint go-to-market activities.
  • Mentor consultants and architects while contributing to practice development in data strategy and enterprise architecture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or enterprise technology roles, including at least 5 years in client-facing leadership positions.
  • Proven expertise defining and executing enterprise data strategies, including data operating models, governance, data quality, MDM, and analytics/BI modernization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise architecture programs across business, application, data, and technology domains.
  • Hands-on or architectural depth with modern data platforms and patterns, including Snowflake, Databricks, data mesh/fabric, lakehouse architectures, ELT/ETL, and streaming.
  • Strong cloud architecture foundation covering networking, identity, security, scalability, and reliability engineering at enterprise scale across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Active AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect Professional certification.
  • TOGAF 9 or TOGAF 10 certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-million-dollar account portfolios and complex pursuits.
  • Excellent executive communication, commercial acumen, and consultative selling skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience within the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, or Rovo, is preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as Snowflake SnowPro, Databricks Certified Data Engineer/Architect, or Azure/GCP Data Engineer are preferred.
  • Experience designing AI/ML data foundations, including feature stores, vector stores, and governed data products supporting RAG and agentic workflows, is preferred.
  • Delivery experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences, with familiarity in GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and BCBS 239, is preferred.
  • An established network within AWS and Azure partner organizations and joint go-to-market motions is preferred.
  • Prior P&L ownership in a consulting or systems integrator environment is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States without current or future sponsorship.
