Description

  • Develop a data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development across the region.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of Oncology Specialists to execute sales strategies and increase profitability and market share.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales staff.
  • Develop and enhance tailored pitches for oncologists and the broader cancer care community.
  • Analyze sales results and industry trends to identify opportunities and respond to competition.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to oncologists and how the product evolves to meet market needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of field sales management experience leading sales reps at a molecular diagnostics or liquid biopsy company, required.
  • Direct selling experience to oncologists across a geographic region with an existing portfolio of convertible client relationships.
  • Strong experience hiring, developing, coaching, and motivating sales reps to exceed ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence, or equivalent.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, data analysis, presentation, listening, and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external customers.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to work strategically and execute tactically with urgency and a focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess oncologist and office staff needs through consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Strong desire to work in a startup environment and build a new territory and team.
  • Experience in a startup environment, preferred.
  • Clinical laboratory experience, preferred.
  • Must reside in the Upper Midwest region or a nearby state.
