Description

  • Drive sales volume and increase revenue for Northstar liquid biopsy products and services in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate revenue growth in the geography.
  • Prospect for new business and cultivate relationships with oncologists and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and expand key account relationships across the extended cancer care community.
  • Work directly with individual oncologists to support market development and sales growth.
  • Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff through consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Report to the Regional Manager - Oncology and operate effectively in a field-based role.
  • Manage territory time and priorities with urgency and a focus on closing business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, including consistent attainment at or above goal over multiple quarters or years.
  • Experience selling to medical providers.
  • Experience selling medical diagnostics, medical devices, or surgical devices.
  • Must live within the defined territory and be centrally located to assigned accounts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the defined territory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment with strong interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Preferred background as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse with experience ordering late-stage cancer liquid biopsy tests.

Benefits

  • Total compensation range of $241,946 to $311,536 per year at plan, including base salary plus uncapped commissions.
  • Base salary range of $168,346 to $184,186 per year, depending on level and experience.
