Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate, and maintain new and existing business relationships within the territory.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities across OBGYN, MFM, genetic counseling, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to grow utilization in the assigned geography.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation and new business development.
  • Attend local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide market feedback to improve the product.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling on providers in a defined territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record with ability to understand buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage opportunities with strong time management.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must work independently, be self-motivated, and thrive in a startup environment.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to provide consultative sales support, coordinate logistics, and solve problems for medical professionals and staff.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy laws, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment, women’s health background, clinical laboratory experience, or a convertible book of business are preferred.

  • Base salary plus uncapped commissions.
  • Total compensation range of $184,569 to $248,269 per year at plan, including a base salary range of $136,869 to $163,269.
