Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business, cultivate leads, and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities across the assigned region, including clinics, hospital systems, and federally qualified health centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to grow test utilization in the territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Help shape how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide market feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers within a specified territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, with the ability to understand buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, and presentation skills with the ability to assess and respond to customer needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, results-oriented, and able to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Ability to work with urgency and a strong focus on closing business.
  • Consultative sales experience with the ability to assess medical professional needs, coordinate logistics, and solve problems.
  • Strong desire to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Professional discretion in handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Women’s health background (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
  • Convertible book of business (preferred).

  • Total compensation range of $184,569 to $248,269 per year at plan.
  • Base salary range of $136,869 to $163,269 per year.
