Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate new business, and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities across the assigned region, including clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to grow utilization in the territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the product is communicated to physicians and patients and provide market feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in healthcare calling on providers within a specified territory.
  • Proven sales track record with strong selling, listening, presentation, and customer-needs assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment with strong self-motivation and internal drive.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess medical professionals' needs through consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Experience in a startup environment, women's health, or clinical laboratory settings is preferred.
  • Convertible book of business is preferred.

  • Total compensation range of $184,569 - $248,269 per year at plan, including base salary of $136,869 - $163,269.
