Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure services and APIs in a serverless cloud environment.
  • Own domain-specific services end-to-end from architecture through deployment, monitoring, and incident root-cause analysis.
  • Build and improve core platform capabilities for orders, inventory, shipments, and returns.
  • Use AI-powered development tools daily to ship faster and help define the team’s AI engineering standards.
  • Raise the bar on development workflows, testing, deployment, and observability.
  • Release small, frequent changes while keeping the codebase simple and maintainable.
  • Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions.
  • Influence technical decisions and help shape engineering culture and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a senior software engineering role, ideally in a startup environment.
  • Strong backend fundamentals and deep commercial experience with Go, or a strong systems background in another language with the ability to learn Go quickly.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, event-driven architecture, and serverless infrastructure such as AWS Lambda.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with a solid grasp of microservice and serverless architectures.
  • AI-native experience using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot every day.
  • A pragmatic approach to simplifying complex systems and shipping scalable solutions.
  • A product-oriented mindset focused on solving real user problems.
  • Strong React or front-end experience is a plus.
  • Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or supply-chain domains is a plus.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects is a plus.
