Description

  • Support delivery and evolving product strategy on a distributed team serving a federal agency client.
  • Contribute to product direction on the assigned workstream with guidance from managers and senior peers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery, requirements, and delivery outcomes with increasing ownership over time.
  • Define, write, test, and manage requirements, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
  • Advise customers on product vision and roadmap and help translate business value and tradeoffs.
  • Identify risks in complex systems and implement mitigation techniques in a timely manner.
  • Coach and mentor peers on agile frameworks and principles as needed.
  • Manage scrum teams and support Agile/Scrum delivery in a software development environment.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, product, and other cross-functional stakeholders in a remote-first setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of applicable experience managing scrum teams.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master within a software development environment.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must reside in the United States and be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
  • US residency for at least the past 3 years and ability to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Knowledge of agile frameworks and principles, with ability to coach and mentor peers.
  • Strong requirements management skills, including defining, writing, testing, and managing acceptance criteria and definition of done.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across business, technical, and creative stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive progress in ambiguous environments.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role.
  • Experience managing complex systems and lower environments.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted partner and advise on product vision and roadmap.
  • Ability to derive business value for stakeholders and manage tradeoffs.
  • Preferred: health care industry and/or CMS experience.
  • Preferred: experience on multiple Scrum teams in varied contexts.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Salesforce, Java, general web development, and cloud technologies.
  • Preferred: experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools.
  • Preferred: formal training in agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe.
  • Preferred: experience in government, federal consulting, public sector, or highly regulated industries.
  • Preferred: experience building digital healthcare technology products and services.
  • Preferred: familiarity with accessibility requirements, including Section 508 and WCAG standards.
  • Preferred: familiarity with healthcare data standards and systems such as CMS programs, FHIR, eCQMs, or value-based care initiatives.
  • Preferred: familiarity with ATO processes, FedRAMP, or other federal compliance frameworks.
  • Preferred: 2+ years working on a remote team.
