Description

  • Work as part of an agile DevOps team to build and maintain critical infrastructure.
  • Participate in planning, design, and collaborative sprint execution.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD processes for code deployment and system updates.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Manage microservices architecture and orchestration using container technologies.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages.
  • Implement best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
  • Support security compliance efforts and vulnerability remediation within SLA targets.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support system operations.
  • Document processes and monitor system logs and activity for potential issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and/or 3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and AWS CLI.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Amazon ECS.
  • Understanding of networking basics, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, with Bash or zsh preferred.
  • Git proficiency.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior software development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or Python is a plus.
  • Associate or Professional AWS certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools like CloudWatch and New Relic is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder; sponsorship is not offered.
  • Must have resided in the U.S. for at least the past 3 years and be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.
