Description

  • Define and maintain a unified AI strategy across internal operations, consulting engagements, and product development.
  • Set priorities, decision-making frameworks, and operating boundaries that align AI work across teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to sequence investments, resolve competing priorities, and keep AI initiatives aligned.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to account leaders in client conversations about AI methods, tradeoffs, risk, and fit.
  • Own the business case for AI investments, including build cost assumptions, ROI frameworks, and tracking returns.
  • Shape AI go-to-market positioning and thought leadership in alignment with the broader GTM strategy.
  • Define staffing and delivery models for custom AI and analytics projects.
  • Assess, develop, and redeploy talent across teams to support AI delivery and growth.
  • Lead AI upskilling and change management by identifying capability gaps and defining expectations by role.
  • Monitor emerging AI capabilities and incorporate relevant developments into internal decision-making and client work.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience spanning life sciences and AI or advanced analytics, including meaningful consulting or advisory experience.
  • Experience leading or overseeing AI-driven projects in pharma commercial settings.
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML approaches, including LLMs, generative AI, machine learning, and agentic systems.
  • Practical understanding of how commercial AI systems are designed, deployed, and evaluated in life sciences.
  • Track record of cross-functional leadership and organizational alignment in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience owning or contributing to business development in a professional services or consulting context.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current by testing new tools and following capability developments.
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to speak credibly about model choices, methodology tradeoffs, and risk in client and internal discussions.
  • Deep understanding of pharma commercial use cases such as patient segmentation, SFE models, and omnichannel recommendations.
